About this stamp:
When the members of the Pine Bluff chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution discovered that Arkansas was without a state flag, the women decided to create one. The winner of the statewide contest was Miss Willie Hocker of Wabbaseka. Her design was officially adopted as the Arkansas State Flag on February 26, 1913.
