About this stamp:

This selection is called RED and GREEN. The colors red and green have long been considered the traditional Christmas colors. The best origin of this custom relates to the 14th century tradition of decorating Pine trees with apples. These trees represented the Paradise Tree from the Garden of Eden in the Paradise Play that was presented on December 24th each year. The green represents the Pine tree and Red is for the Apples. This is also considered the origin of the traditional Christmas tree.
